Chris Kerin lives, breathes, eats and sleeps building defects. His early years were spent studying in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of NSW but he soon switched from the dark side and now practices law and fights the good fight for owners corporations around the country.
His approach to litigation is a 21st century one and is about getting defects rectified rather than fighting about defects in court. It centres on collaboration with the builder and getting an agreement early on before World War 3 starts and the legal fees get out of hand.
In what little spare time he has, he tries to control his minor addiction to social media and salsa and practises small acts of kindness towards marsupials.
His mother thinks he’s the best lawyer in the whole universe but should work less and travel more.
